I met Lonnie probably 15 years ago when I was directing a charity 5K for my kids’ school. He did the timing and event announcing for us  for several years. He bought both enthusiasm and professionalism to our event. He has a way of making event logistics and race day mayhem feel seamless and stress free. Lonnie would be my go-to for any race or announcing needs.

Lonnie can do it all! Create the event theme, organize the event, pull together the logistics, market it appropriately especially excelling at social media, and then he steps in and announces the event. Lonnie announced our Women’s Half Marathon series and was absolutely fabulous! He brings energy and excitement to the event and is always professional and a joy to work with.

Lonnie is the voice of the Denver Colfax Marathon Weekend and has been for over 10 years. His upbeat, friendly voice and tone are always welcoming to the audience.

In addition I have worked with him at other major events where he has not only been an announcer but also the on stage emcee in front of thousands of people.
When required, he has provided us with crisp, clear voice overs for critical recordings at our events.

Lonnie has continued to be one of the principal emcees at the annual Colorado Running Hall of Fame ceremony. His personable interviews with extraordinary athletes are well-received, particularly by the attending media.

When he is announcing thousands of finishers at our Marathon weekend, he entertains everyone by extemporaneously selecting interesting runners for interviews. The public particularly enjoys the interviews since it draws them into the spirit of the event.
